September 6, 2005 - Five year-old Charlotte Ryan shows her big brother, eight year-old Kyle, her name tag for her first day of kindergarten as they wait for their school bus to arrive. Today is the first day of school at the Smallwood Drive Elementary School in Amherst where both Charlotte and Kyle will be attending.  © Mike Lynaugh October 15, 2005 - Amherst’s linebacker Nick Borek gets tripped up after intercepting a pass from Williamsville South during Saturday’s game at Williamsville. Amherst defeated the Billies 46-28 in a rivalry that dates back to 1932.  © Mike Lynaugh November 11, 2005 - World War II veteran Sam Martina salutes the colors as they pass by during the Veterans Day ceremony at the Williamsville Cemetery on Veterans Day. Mr. Martina was a member of the Army Air Corps and is currently a member of the George F. Lamm Post #622 in Williamsville, who hosted today’s ceremony at the war memorial within the cemetery. He also brought his nine-year-old grandson Jimmy Martina with him to teach him the importance of honoring the sacrifices of those who have worn the uniform for our country.  © Mike Lynaugh November 11, 2005 - Members of the George F.
