World War II veteran Sam Martina salutes the colors as they pass by during the Veterans Day ceremony at the Williamsville Cemetery on Veterans Day.  Mr. Martina was a member of the Army Air Corps and is currently a member of the George F. Lamm Post #622 in Williamsville, who hosted today’s ceremony at the war memorial within the cemetery.  He also brought his nine-year-old grandson Jimmy Martina with him to teach him the importance of honoring the sacrifices of those who have worn the uniform for our country.   © Mike Lynaugh
