Petersburg National Battlefield Park Ranger Tracy Chernault portrays a member of 48th Pennsylvania, as he tells the story of some of the Union soldiers that took part in digging the actual tunnel under the Confederate fortification before the Union army blew it up and had one of the most violent battles of the entire war, "The Battle of the Crater" 140 years ago this weekend.
