"Team Ethan" competes in the 2015 Cleveland Triathlon

On
July 26, 2015 I was honored to be a part of something truly special. "Team Ethan", is an incredible group of 26 children that have joined together to show their love for their friend, Ethan Fairhurst who suffers from cerebal palsy. Twelve year-old Rachel Prior formed a race team a few years ago to raise money for cerebal palsy research to help her best friend. Last year Rachel gathered a few of her friends to participate together in the Cleveland Triathlon to raise even more money for research, and this year has come back with an even bigger team. Rachel pulled her friend Ethan during the swim and bike portions of the race, and pushed him during the final running leg. It was an amazing sight to see, and a day I will never forget. It was heartwarming to see the true definition of friendship.
