Carrier Air Wing Seven ( CVW-7 ) Homecoming at NAS Oceana

On July 2, 2013 I once again had the amazing opportunity to be at NAS Oceana to record the homecoming of a Carrier Air Wing, this time Carrier Air Wing 7 (CVW-7).  CVW-7 deployed for 10 of the last 12 months on the U.S.S. Eisenhower (CVN-69). During this second part of their split deployment, the air wing completed over 5,200 sorties of which more than 1,300 were combat designated.

I wanted to thank Kelley Stirling, Mike Maus and the family members and aviators of VFA-103 "Jolly Rogers", VFA-131 "Wildcats", VFA-143 "Pukin' Dogs", and VFA-83 "Rampagers" for permitting me to be a part of this amazing event, it is something I will never forget.
