On November 22, 2015 I once again had the amazing opportunity to be at NAS Oceana to record the homecoming of a Carrier Air Wing, this time Carrier Air Wing One (CVW-1).  CVW-1 deployed for 8 1/2 months on the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71). During the deployment they completed a.most 21,000 flight hours over 9,100 sorties which included 10,618 combat flight hours in support of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR) in the fight against ISIS.

I wanted to thank Naval Air Station Oceana's Public Affairs office and the family members and aviators of VFA-15 'Red Rippers', VFA-136 'Knighthawks', & VFA-211 'Fighting Checkmates' for permitting me to be a part of this amazing event, it is something I will never forget.
