The Homecoming for the U.S.S. Eisenhower ( CVN-69 )

On July 3, 2013 the U.S.S. Eisenhower returned home from the second half of a split deployment in which she was deployed 10 out of the past 12 months. During this 4 month deployment, she had over 5,200 sorties launched from her flight deck, 1,300 of which were combat designated. The attached air wing (CVW-7) amassed nearly 13,000 flight hours, and logged 5,200 carrier arrested landings while providing combat support for coalition ground forces.
