April 1, 2002 - The "Tribute in Lights" towers above the New York City skyline out of what has become known as "Ground Zero".  The "Tribute in Lights" is a temporary memorial for those lost during the September 11th attacks.  The towers stand just north of where the World Trade Center once stood.  The brightly lit area is where workers, still to this day, work 24 hours a day to retrieve any remains they may find, so as to give solace to that victim's family.  This "Tribute in Lights" will only remain lit until April 13, 2002.
